Tap dance is a type of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. The sound is made by shoes that have a metal "tap" on the heel and toe. This style is so fun and can be used in the style of hip hop, jazz and so much more! How fun! This is another one of Miss Krystal's favorite classes!

Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking which was created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States. This dance has evolved so much and can vary from teacher to teacher which makes to so unique! This is one of 3 of Miss Krystal's favorite Classes!
Ballet is a type of performance dance that originated during the Italian Renaissance in the fifteenth century and later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia. It has since become a widespread, highly technical form of dance with its own vocabulary based on French terminology.
Lyrical dance has been defined as a dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, modern, and hip hop, while still maintaining its autonomy. This is one of Miss Krystal's favorite styles of dance (can you tell by now she likes a lot of classes) & this style is often perform on the oh so famous DANCE MOM's!
Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context. We are very lucky to have our very own Miss Allie who is an expert in this area to help our students not only meet their goals but go beyond them as well!!

This program is for children ages 2-6. It teaches the basics of tap and ballet over the course of 45 minutes. we focus half of the class on tap then we focus the other half on ballet. Your child will learn the basics of dance and learn skills useful not only in dance but at home as well!
This is a 5 week program designed for our teeny dancers who like to tumble! These little ones are too little to begin acro, but this is the perfect place to start and to learn the basics! This is not a recital class and will start over every 5 weeks!
